Mob-Energy was founded by three engineers from INSA Lyon in 2018 with the aim of addressing two challenges:
• Reduce the environmental impact of lithium-ion car batteries by extending their lifespan;
• Accelerate the deployment of charging services, crucial for the adoption of electric vehicles, by strengthening the network through energy storage.
Creation of the company after 6 months of incubation at FEE INSA Lyon.
Development of the first charging robot: Charles for our first client: Lyon Parc Auto (LPA).
Deployment and launch of the first trial of a charging robot in Europe.
Fundraising of €2.1M with Sofimac Innovation and InnoEnergy.
Winner of the prestigious I-Nov competition for the development of “Eiko”.
Deployment of new charging robots, for 2 new clients:
bioMérieux and EDF.
Team expansion (x2 in 12 months)
Fundraising of 10 million euros (Serie A)
Company relocates to USIN Parilly site
